Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning "to yoke" or to unify. Historically, the science of yoga dates back to 2500 BC. There are eight limbs Or practices within yoga. In the West the most common yogic practice is asana, the physical postures. Other popular practices include meditation, and pranayama (breathing).

Yoga’s benefits are many and include:
